The Bestival line up gets me excited. Partly because I get to be a mermaid but because I quite like the idea of 10,000 people screaming 'Snnoooooooooooop' in unison, and if Elton and snoop collaborate for tiny dancer I may actually pee. It also makes me wonder what the third headline act will be... I want Bowie.

Deap Valley
"You say marry a rich man, I'd find a rich one if you can"
There is nothing that I love more than an angry girl band. Deap Vally controls the hearts of gentle spectators whilst squeezing the heads off of old dolls and crying tears of blood and sweat. That's how I see them anyway.
Their raw, gritty talent, along with amples amount of attitude, rips apart sissy, female ideology's and spits on the people that created them. Taking no prisoners, Deap Vally hold on to what many male rock bands have forgot. They take risks, can play guitar and still can scream a lyric or two.
Gonna make my own money: Who'd have known that this is what they would sound like when they first met at crochet class.

Bit on Bondax
"Gold is not enough, She's the diamond, I'm the rough."
Dreamy, hazed ,electronic dance music that swifts you away to a dark, sweaty nightclub that sits home to the gritty sway of the intoxicated showgoers. George Townsend and Adam Kaye make the body of Bondax. A quick glance at their soundcloud will show you how intense and popular these guys really are. With them working so hard in the studio on their debut album, it comes to no surprise that they have been recognised by the greats at Xfm and Radio one.
Bondax-Gold: complex, melodic and of pure brilliance.

Swim Deep - The Sea (Acoustic)
Bastille all acoustic
"Oh where do we begin? The rubble or our sins?"
Among the triangle lovers of our modern day, British culture comes Bastille, a south London band who's EP has forced them to rise above much anticipation for their oncoming album Bad Blood due for release in early March.
I found this little beauty whilst procrastinating, browsing through trying to fill my time with something more exciting than work I had to do. This acoustic version of Pompeii, taken from a Daytrotter session, is the first track of Bad Blood is beautiful and has to be said, slightly more spectacular than the original.
